1.11 Saving Your Course
To save a course, click the Save button on the toolbar or choose File > Save from the menu bar.
  1. By default, your course is saved in the courses directory in the ReadyGo program directory on your hard drive. You can save the course source anywhere you want.
  2. Web Course Builder automatically creates a subdirectory using the course name you specified in the Course Information dialog box.
  3. It is a good practice to save your file before generating a course.
  1. The source files for a course consist of two files: a .wct and a .wcg file. Web Course Builder uses these files to generate the HTML version of the course. The .wct file contains all the course text. All the graphics in the course are saved in the .wcg file.
Tip Tip Web Course Builder automatically saves your course text every 20 minutes. The automatic save file is stored in the same folder as your course source files with the file extension .wc~. If you ever need to restore your work, replace your .wct file with the .wc~ file.
